From 1st July 2022, international passengers can transit/ transfer at Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Don Mueang International Airport, and Phuket International Airport only, and the time period of each transfer/transit should be (1) no longer than 24 hours and (2) should not leave the transit area.

Transit less than 24 hours or not passing through immigration procedures is not required to apply for a transit visa. In case of a change of airport longer connection than 24 hours, a Transit Visa must be obtained.

2.1 Transit through the Kingdom to stop over, then proceed to the country of destination (TS1)

2.2 Transit through the Kingdom for pilots, captains steering vehicles to Thailand’s ports or stations and crews (TS2)

2.3 Transit through the Kingdom for athletes participating in sports events (TS3)

 

Please ensure all of your information on the visa e-application, e.g., the spelling of your name/middle name/ surname, passport number, date of birth, nationality, issue and expiry date of passport, is true and correct before confirming the visa e-application.

The information on the submitted e-application cannot be amended. The visa e-application with wrong personal information will be rejected, and the fee is non-refundable.

Please do not submit your visa application more than 2 months before your departure. The visa process takes 15-20 working days.
